Our Story

At Madera Amsterdam, our journey began in Amsterdam with a simple observation: existing coffee table book stands on the market lacked the aesthetics we believed our favorite books deserved. Frustrated by the uninspiring options available, we decided to design our own coffee table book stand. Our vision was to create pieces that are not only functional but also beautiful in their own right – stands that celebrate both the books they hold and the craftsmanship that goes into making them. And that's how Madera Amsterdam was born.

Our Environmental Commitment

Our mission extends far beyond creating beautiful products. We believe that beautiful design and environmental responsibility can – and should – go hand in hand. Through our partnerships with reforestation organizations, we ensure that our impact on the environment is not just neutral, but positive. For every piece we create, we pledge to give back more madera (wood) than we take from our amazing planet.
